What are the symptoms of COVID-19?

Corona Virus SYMPTOMS

It can take up to 14 days for symptoms of coronavirus to appear. The main symptoms to look out for are:

Fever – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature). It is a common sign and also may appear in 2-10 days if you affected.

Coughing – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).

Shortness Of Breath – Around 1 out of every 6 people who get COVID-19 becomes seriously ill and develops difficulty breathing or shortness of breath.

Myths About COVID-19

Cold weather and snow CANNOT kill the new coronavirus

There is no reason to believe that cold weather can kill the new coronavirus or other diseases. The normal human body temperature remains around 36.5 A C to 37 A C regardless of the external temperature or weather.

Antibiotics do not work againts viruses, only bacteria

The new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) is a virus and,therefore, antibiotics should not be used as a means of prevention or treatmeant. However, if you are hospitalize for the 2019-nCoV,you may receive antibiotics because bacterial co-infection is possible

The new coronavirus cannot be transmitted through goods manufactures in China or any country reporting COVID-19 cases.

Yes it is safe. People receiving imported goods or packages from China are not exposed to the rised of getting the new coronavirus. We know from experience that is very unlikely that the virus would survive fora long a time on things such as letters or packages.
